SOLD Vintage 18ct Gold Pearl Dormeuse Earrings

A pretty pair of simple earrings from the  early 20th Century. The earrings are made from 18ct gold and have dormeuse fastenings making them very secure in the ear. The pearls have a lovely soft lustre and are topped by little paste gemstones in claw settings. The paste are set in white gold settings, though one setting appears a little more yellow than the other; it is likely that the rhodium plating has faded with time. The little paste stones are nice and bright and you'd be forgiven for thinking they were diamonds.
