Vintage 14kt Gold Lapis Lazuli Marquise Ring
A stunning and eye catching ring from the middle of the 20th Century. The ring is made from 14kt gold and has a spectacular marquise shaped lapis lazuli stone as its centrepiece. The gemstone is a lovely bright blue with a few tiny gold speckles in its natural form. Around the gold setting is a lovely rope twist design that continues down the shoulders of the shank. The shank has three fine gold bands that fan out at the shoulders and are rigid together as one at the back of the finger. There are hallmarks on the outside of the shank that resemble Austrian hallmarks, with the number 4 representing the 4th fineness of gold standard, which is 14kt gold in Austria. The gold has also been tested to be sure.
