SOLD Vintage 14kt Gold Diamond & Aquamarine Drop Earrings
A beautiful pair of earrings from the late 20th Century. The earrings are made from 14kt gold and are a combination of white and yellow gold. The top design is a pretty flower with a beautiful scalloped edge. It appears to have a little look of the Victorian about it. At the centre of the yellow gold flower is a brilliant cut diamond. The diamonds measure approx 3.5mm in diameter each and sparkle beautifully in their claw settings. Hanging from the flower is a simple oval cut aquamarine drop. The aquamarine is also claw set and the settings are made from 14kt white and yellow gold; a lovely detail. The aquamarines have a beautiful pale blue colour and the way the stones have been faceted to the back allows the light to bounce around the stones perfectly.
