SOLD Victorian Silver Paste Drop Earrings
A pretty pair of paste drops made from components from the Victorian period, c1880s. The earrings are made from silver and have three lovely clear pastes set in pinched collet settings to each earring. The pastes have cuts reminiscent of old mine cuts with a small and high table. The stones are lovely and bright and the earrings move prettily in the ear. The top and bottom stones are set in closed backs, while the centre stone is in an open back setting, indicating that these earrings are likely to have been made up from antique components.
