SOLD Victorian Large 9kt Gold Dangle Earrings
A stunning and large pair of gold Victorian earrings, circa 1870. The earrings are made from 9kt gold and are cast-made meaning that the gold has been poured into a mold to create two identical pieces that are then joined together. The design is a beautiful one with faceted gold domes around a scalloped edged frame. At the center of each earring is a plain domed panel that has been etched with a trefoil engraving. The earrings have the original faceted tops; quite a rarity, and are in beautiful condition.
As they are hollow, they are lovely and light in the ear whilst making such a wonderful statement.
