SOLD Victorian 9ct Gold Turquoise Glass Cluster Earrings
A pretty pair of earrings from the late Victorian period, c1890s. The earrings are made from 9ct gold and have silver settings for the stones as was customary for the period. The stones appear to be a mix of natural turquoise and turquoise glass. Possibly the glass turquoise are replacements to the originals, though they could also have been made this way originally. The 'turquoise' is lovely and bright and the little gold frilled edge finishes the look perfectly.
