Victorian 18ct Gold Drop Leaf Earrings
A stunning pair of earrings from the mid Victorian period, c1870. The earrings are made from 18ct gold and have a lovely presence due to their elegant length. They dangle prettily in the ear and have a realistic leaf design to the front with a delicate curved stem. The leaves are etched to great effect giving a beautiful design. Hanging from the trumpet shaped torpedo style earrings are gold balls, which have facets to the bottom allowing a little play of light across the gold.
