A stunning pendant from the mid Victorian period, C1860. The pendant is made from 15kt gold and has five beautiful hessonite garnets set into a cruciform style. The cruciform hangs at the bottom of three gold chains, at the top of which is a larger, rectangular hessonite garnet. The gemstones are all faceted and have a wonderful orange hue with deep treacle undertones. A beautiful and fairly unusual piece that would look wonderful on the neck.
The pendant hangs on a modern 14kt gold fill 18" chain.
