SOLD Victorian 14kt Gold Rose Diamond Solitaire Ring
A pretty ring from the late Victorian period, c1880s. The ring is made from 14kt gold and has a wonderful raised bezel setting that holds a pretty rose diamond. The rose diamond is a lovely example of an antique cut of this style and the facets allow the diamond to sparkle perfectly. The diamond has been bezel set and the setting has a wonderful conical shape to the back, which can be seen through the open claws. The claw setting allows the diamond to sit a little higher on the finger and this ring shows beautiful craftsmanship. This is a lovely ring that could be worn as a pinky ring, though it could also be sized up too.
