Victorian 12ct Gold Leaf Panel Ring
A wonderful ring in perfect condition from the end of the Victorian period, dated Birmingham 1899. The ring is made from 12ct gold, a quality of gold that is fairly rare to see and was phased out in 1932, though it was used far less than its 15ct gold counterpart. This ring has a luxurious gold colour and is in absolutely immaculate condition - entirely original and never been altered. There are seven graduated step panels with palm fronds on each one and an etched band to the reverse. Palm leaves are said to represent victory, triumph and peace. Such a beautiful piece.
