Edwardian Pearl & Gemstone Twist Pendant
A pretty and unusual pendant from the early Edwardian period, c1900s. The pendant is made from 9ct gold and has two circles that cross over each other. Each circle is studded with lovely little pearls equally spaced around the design. At the centre are three claw set gemstones. They test as citrine, sapphire and amethyst. They are all slightly unusual colours for these gemstones, with the sapphire presenting a lovely blue grey colour and the amethyst being very pale purple. This adds to the individual nature of this piece.
The pendant hangs on a 18" 14kt gold fill chain.
