Edwardian 18ct Gold Rose Diamond Drop Earrings
A wonderful pair of diamond earrings from the Edwardian period, c1910s, likely French in origin. The earrings are made from 18ct yellow gold and have beautiful glistening rose diamonds claw set in articulated drops. These beautiful diamonds are lovely and bright and hang on the bottom of little stems with a little rose diamond at the top. The settings have a lovely scalloped edge, giving them a slightly floral design. The earrings have white gold fronts, a common practice to show the diamonds in their best light, though the earrings are predominantly yellow gold. A lovely elegant pair of drops, perfect for any occasion, with dormeuse fastenings making them very secure in the ear.
