A beautiful and striking ring from the late Victorian/early Edwardian period. The ring is made from 18ct gold, which has a beautiful rich colour. The ring has a lovely solid and simple setting which holds a cabochon carnelian. The carnelian has the deep burnt orange colour you would recognise from this semi precious stone and looks wonderful against the rich yellow of the gold.
