• SOLD Edwardian 18ct Gold Hearts & Flowers Keeper Ring

    £0.00

This item is out of stock

An absolutely stunning keeper ring from the Edwardian period, dated 1912. This is a keeper ring with a difference. The heavy 18ct gold ring has a wonderfully romantic design with four hearts across the top that are surrounded by flowers, possibly forget-me-nots. Keeper rings were given as a sign of betrothal, the idea being that the giver wanted to 'keep' the receiver. A lovely gesture and a very romantic sentiment. This ring looks beautiful worn alone or as part of a chunky stack and has a lovely buttery gold colour.
