Edwardian 15ct Gold Sapphire & Pearl Drop Earrings
An absolutely beautiful pair of earrings from the Edwardian period, c1905. The earrings are in wonderful condition and made from 15ct gold. They have a pretty row of individually set seed pearls in closed back gold settings, leading to a target style design. The row or pearls is fully articulated giving the earrings pretty movement in the ear. The outer ring of the target is also dotted with seed pearls and at the centre is a pretty blue sapphire. The sapphire is a beautiful blue and is complimented perfectly by the pearls. A slightly smaller sapphire is also set at the top and the earrings and they have 9ct gold shepherds hooks. A really wonderful pair of classic earrings in lovely condition.
