SOLD Art Deco Top Opal & Rose Diamond 14kt White Gold Ring
This ring is a real show stopper! The top of the ring looks to be early 20th Century and likely started life as brooch. It has beautiful rose diamonds in pinched collet settings, reminiscent of Victorian styles, set into a swirl style design. This surrounds a beautiful and playful opal that looks to be original to the piece. The opal has flashes of all colours including green, blue, yellow and red and the light bounces around the stone beautifully highlighting various colours in different lights. All the diamonds look to be original and the whole piece is in excellent condition.
At some point in its life, likely in the middle of the 20th Century, the brooch has been converted into a ring. This has been done expertly and the ring now has a 14kt white gold high quality shank and mount. The conversion is seamless and this ring looks wonderful on the hand.
