SOLD Antique 9ct Gold 38" Long Guard Chain

A beautiful quality long guard chain from the late Victorian period, c1880s. The chain is made from 9ct gold and has a beautiful simple cable link. The gold has a soft rosy yellow colour to it, typical of antique gold. To one end is the perfect dog clip clasp and directly opposite this on the chain is a jump ring. This allows the chain to be worn super long or doubled up and clasped through the extra bail. A very versatile piece that can be worn alone, with charms, doubled over the head or doubled round the neck. Perfect to mix up your look daily.
